Our boutique store based in Suva, Fiji, is the dreamchild of three friends who desired to showcase the beauty of Pacific art, craft, food and culture.
In 2012, the MAQOSA brand was registered and trademarked as a platform to retail select Pacific crafts both locally and internationally, and all under one roof.
As a 100% locally owned business, our vision is to highlight the unique and distinct gift items inspired by and reflecting the beauty and versatility of our Pacific Islands. We source our goods from local and regional communities where we provide a space for home-based women and youth entrepreneurs. Our team also carries out in-house production.
Our primary goal is to contribute to the sustainable livelihoods of our source communities and artisans whilst providing high-quality MAQOSA products for our customers. As the name reflects, we want to offer a product that clearly identifies the Pacific, one in which immediately evokes fond memories and warm feelings of home.

Along our journey in 2015, we established the U Sabai Thai Traditional Massage & Spa, quite likely the only original Thai spa in Fiji. We also provide equal opportunities by employing the visually impaired.
Our spa offers a wide range of treatments including aromatherapy and Thai body massages, gold facials, gel nail treatments and pregnancy massages. It is seamlessly interconnected with the MAQOSA boutique store allowing our customers to shop and enjoy spa services in an environment that promotes a sense of well-being.
We also have a spacious outdoor deck available for events such as birthday parties and meetings. Please enquire with our team today about hiring our facility for those special moments.
